Privacy and cookies
This notice explains how RCA London ("we", "us") uses personal information collected through rebuildcostassessment.london. We are the data controller for this information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Your name and email address when you send an enquiry or request a report.
- The property details you choose to give us, such as address, property type and size.
- Your email address if you sign up for reassessment reminders.
- The web page you were on when you sent a form.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide a quote or rebuild cost assessment. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.
- To send reassessment reminders you have asked for. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations, including RICS record-keeping requirements.
We do not sell your information or use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with people who help us deliver the service, such as our surveyors and IT and email providers, and only as far as they need it. Messages sent through the forms on this website are delivered to us by Formspree, a form service based in the United States, which processes them on our behalf. We may share information where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years if no work follows. Where we carry out an assessment, we keep the report and related records for as long as professional and legal rules require, typically at least six years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to move elsewhere. To make a request, contact us through the enquiry form on our website. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when the page loads. We may add privacy-friendly analytics in future; if we do, we will update this notice and ask for consent where the law requires it.
